Meet the Doctors

Dr. Adam Cohen

Dr. Adam Cohen received his bachelor’s degree from Colby College and continued his education at University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine earning his DMD degree. He was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon honorary dental society and received several other academic and clinical awards during dental school. Dr. Adam Cohen completed his clinical specialty training and earned his orthodontic certificate at Rutgers Univeristy.

It was there where he met his wife Lori, who is also an orthodontist. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Society, Hartford Dental Society, New Britain Dental Society, and Manchester Dental Society. To remain up-to-date on the latest technologies and treatment philosophies, Dr. Adam Cohen continually attends lectures and seminars.

An avid sportsman, Dr. Adam Cohen loves playing golf, tennis, and skiing. He has recently begun participating in half-marathons and enjoys following all the major sports teams in the Northeast area.

Dr. Adam and Dr. Lori live in West Hartford with their three children, Blake, Tessa, and Elle. When they are away from the office you can find them staying busy in the community and enjoying everything Connecticut has to offer!


Dr. Lori Cohen

Dr. Lori Cohen was born and raised in southern California. She earned her undergraduate degree in Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego, where she graduated with honors for outstanding academic achievement. She went on to receive her D.D.S. from the University of California, Los Angeles, and her postgraduate certificate in orthodontics from Rutgers University. Drs. Lori strives to provide the most advanced treatment options to all of her patients.

She feels that it is important to stay on the cutting edge of orthodontics and makes continuing education a top priority. She maintains active memberships with several professional organizations including the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association and the Northeast Society of Orthodontists. Drs. Lori enjoys working with children and adults to help them achieve beautiful smiles and is committed to providing her patients with an individualized experience.

She believes in not only achieving great results, but also building relationships with her patients and the community. Lori met her husband Adam, who is also an orthodontist, during their orthodontic residency program in New Jersey. Drs. Lori and Adam Cohen practice in Berlin, South Windsor and Farmington. Her favorite time away from the office is spent with her husband and son Blake, daughter Tessa, and daughter Elle. Lori also enjoys traveling, yoga, scuba diving, running, and snowboarding.
